Just a few words about myself.
I started collecting about 16 years ago, while working for San
Joaquin County on the rural roads and farm communities.
I guess my first big item that got me interested in Petrol
items was a Seaside globe given to me by an old timer that
had been a station owner. The next thing was a NOS seaside
rest room sign and it just kept going.
I remember Seaside as a youngster in the small farm area of Galt, California, where I grew up, so I went back and asked around and acquired more. I do have other West Coast company collectables, but Seaside is always number one with me.
I would trade most of my other collectables for Seaside value for value. I don't mean to brag about my collection; I've just been very lucky at being in the right place at the right time. So I built this web page so others can see what Seaside had to offer as being the longest running independent oil company on the West Coast: 1898-1972.
