Frogpond Acres

Cornelius

Cornelius is a Percheron-Morgan cross. He was adopted from a PMU farm in Manitoba. After a weeklong trip cross country in a 24 foot trailer, he arrived at Frogpond Acres tired and with a tail full of burs.

Within a couple days, Les had befriended the colt and started his groundwork. As a result, she was able to halter him on day 3 and by day 4, the tail burs were gone.

After a couple weeks in the pen, Cornelius was ready for his first pond walk. Of course, with the drought conditions over the last two summers; the pond is not looking it’s best.
