Photos from opening day, Saturday August 16, 2008.
Last year no one sent me any opening day photos to post.
If you have some pics you'd like to
share I encourage you to email them by clicking HERE.
JPEG format is best to save space on the web server.
Be aware that server space is EXTREMELY limited. As a result I will only be able to post selected photos here.
Sorry for the quality of the images, my camera is getting old. For anyone curious, yes that was me up on top of the booth above the bleachers.
Sorry again for the lack of parade pics, I wanted to save my batteries for the group pic (they got low too quick).
The 2006 group image (above and again below) was taken with a panoramic lens which made for a much better image. We may get better images
when the professional photos are available and I'll post "some" of the images I get from folks who were at opening day as I get them.
Server space limitations keep me from being able to post everything but I'll review what we get and post the best images.
